πŸš€ Highly Requested Feature Released: Automatic Image Screenshots from Your PDFs!

  • Automatic Image Screenshots:

    • We are thrilled to introduce a groundbreaking feature that has been highly requested by our users! Now, when you export your flashcards to Anki, an image screenshot from the relevant page of your PDF will be automatically attached to each flashcard.

    • How does it work? The flashcard will automatically include a screenshot from the page of the PDF where the content was sourced. This visual reference enhances your study experience by providing context directly from your study material.

    • We’ve added a new field in the PDF2Anki Anki card type called "PDF Reference." This is where the screenshot will be attached. When you export your flashcards as a .apkg file and open them in Anki, you will see the screenshot when you flip to the back of the card during review.

    • User Benefits:

      • 🧠 Enhanced Learning: Visual references can significantly improve memory retention and understanding of complex concepts.

      • 🎯 Convenience: No more manually adding images to your flashcards. Save time and streamline your study process.

      • πŸ” Contextual Learning: Screenshots provide immediate context, helping you recall where the information came from in your PDF.

      • πŸ”— Seamless Integration: The new "PDF Reference" field ensures that your flashcards remain organized and easy to review.
